Bio

Sara is pursuing a Master’s in Ecology working with Dr. Donatella Zona. She received her Bachelor’s from UCSD and worked on projects like the California Poppy Project. She is currently researching change in lichen composition over time in areas of the arctic that are critical to caribou

Her research goals are to create a spectral library for lichen, gather enough data to see composition change, and use that change to help determine how the caribou will change their land use.
